HUCOG-10000
HP is issued in ampoules and this drug is entered intramuscularly. The active
substance of this medicine is chorionic gonadotropin. The dose of the medicine
is 10,000 I.U / 1 Ml. To women for the induction of an ovulation are prescribed
5000–10000 IU at a time, to stimulate the function of the yellow body -
1500–5000 IU for 3-6-9 days after ovulation. For men - 500–2000 I.U once a
day, 2-3 times a week for 1.5–3 months.
It
has a gonadotropic, mainly luteinizing effect. Treatment is carried out under
the supervision of a qualified doctor having experience of therapy of endocrine
disturbances.
Pharmacological
use
This
medicine stimulates the production of sex hormones in testicles and ovaries.
Stimulates ovulation in women and spermatogenesis in men. Enhances the
development of generative organs, secondary sexual characteristics. This drug
is prescribed for the hypofunction of the genital glands of men or women, due
to a stimulation of the pituitary gland, the hypothalamus. When using for
induction of an ovulation, it is recommended that you select an individual
dosage regimen and correct it depending on its effectiveness, regular
measurement of serum estradiol and progesterone concentrations, ultrasound of
the ovaries, daily determination of basal body temperature and adherence to the
sexual regime recommended by the doctor.

This
substance has a set of side effects for health if used any differently from
doctor's orders. Side effects can be various, for example:

Suppression of the pituitary gonadotrophic function.
In
women may occur the syndrome of hyperstimulation of ovaries. Men can
possibly experience edema, fluid retention, increased nipple sensitivity, an
increase in testicles in the inguinal canal, gynecomastia, sperm reduction during
the ejaculation.
